ERIK GETS THE THIRD DEGREE Hey, you all visit Spinnerrack.com, right? No? Well, you should. It's run by fan fave and current Image sales guy Eric Stephenson, as well as just being a swell place about comics. Erik is given the interview treatment in Spinnerrack's feature column, The Third Degree. To read the interview, click here. God bless those geeky folks at Spinnerrack.com for putting it all together.

BATTLE POPE GIVES ERIK A NOD AT CBR Recently, Robert Kirkman, that guy who draws/publishes/blah, blah, blah that swell indie comic, BATTLE POPE, has recently been interviewed at CBR! So far, this has nothing to do with anything, right? Wrong. In said interview, Kirkman gives Erik a nod! As quote... "Does anyone else think it's a CRIME that the numbers for Savage Dragon are so low? I mean where do you find someone more dedicated to a book that Erik Larsen?" To read the rest, head on over to ComicBookResources.com and check the Hot Seat Column. Thanks to Pete Venkman.
POLL AT SPAWN.COM We all know that McFarlane Toys is putting out the Dragon toy, but what you might NOT have known is that Spawn.com has this nifty keen poll rating the best of the best of the upcoming toys. Here's the direct link. Go and vote every day to stuff Dragon's votes so that he may get number one! Yeah, it's a one in a million shot, seeing as how it IS the Spawn website, but we can dream, right? Right?
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ANOTHER FRANK CHO PIN-UP Liberty Meadows artist Frank Cho must either really really love Dragon, or.... well... really really REALLY love Dragon. heh. This is the second pin-up I've seen that this fellow has done! I may not care much for Liberty Meadows, but this guy draws one hell of a Dragon pic. Seeing as how this one's a lot more completed than the one shown here before, it's a safe bet to say that this is the proposed pin-up for the upcoming Savage Dragon #100. Man, if the other pin-ups are anywhere CLOSE to as cool as this one, this book is going to own you all when it comes out. Game on!
ERIK POSTS AT SPINNERRACK.COM More Spinnerrack.com news! Rob Liefeld's got his own message board there, where our very own Erik decided to drop by, at first setting us all straight about Wizard's misquote, and then against Rob's petty verbal abuse. Rob even gets to a point where he brings up Dart! Hey, at least he's knowledgable enough about Erik's characters that he knows about that book! If you're interested in geeky comic creator arguments, go check out Rob's message board at Spinnerrack.com. Even stallwarts like Dan Fraga and that guy who drew the Violator/Badrock mini (no, he didn't commit suicide after drawing that filth) have voiced their opinions! Fans of both creators have been pretty cool so far, because hey, love them or not, Erik and Rob are two unique and prominent figures in the comics industry, with an honest love for the comic book profession.... it's just too bad that Rob's such a fucking asshole....
