Day of the Defenders #1

EXTRA STUFF
Pencils, unfinished covers and what-not.

DEFENDERS #1, PAGE 01

To the left is Erik's pencils from the first page of Defenders #1.  Clearly seen are Doc Strange, Hulk, Namor, and Silver Surfer.  The attention to the most miniscule of detail in the bottom is great.  The city scape really makes this piece look very neat.  To see a larger version, click on the pic.

DEFENDERS #3

Here is the cover pencils for Defenders #3, featuring Valkarie, who has seemingly been turned against her one-time partners,  the Defenders.  To check out a larger version, click on the pic to the right.

DAY OF THE DEFENDERS #1

Here are the finished pencils for the cover of the one-shot, Day of the Defenders, which was a compilation of old Defenders stories that transpired even before the Defenders existed.  To check out a larger version, click on the picture to the left.

***BONUS***
Hey, for all those who were a tad bit confused by the "Nuff Said" Defenders #12 issue because of the lack of word balloons, Erik was kind enough to post what the general plot was at the message board at savagedragon.com.  For all those that missed it, here it is!  Enjoy the plotsiness of it all.
